This was well worth it for me. I have not one regret about cutting my hair. Knowing that a child may gain confidence for even a day, wearing my hair as her own......makes me smile. And the result is a new me, a new feeling a new energy. Taking a dive into the unknown is so necessary. I will be a a new mom in late December and this refreshed look makes me feel even more confident to take on the unexpected. Thanks for the love and most of all for locksoflove.org I will be attending a ceremony on November 28 where me and 6 other women showcase there experencies. Every little bit counts..........Jennifer
If my hair wasn't a dry/ split ended mess I would cut it off for that. It's long enough but whatever little girl was to end up with my "hair" would throw it back saying she got played with boar's hair...
AAHHAHAAA, At first it's all pretty, and then.....RAAAAAIN! (please say like the ol' skool RAID commercial when the cockroaches know the RAID is coming "RAAAAIID!" hahahaa
Whatevaaaa girls........... They take both straight and curly hair, nice TRY I had to blow mine out too. I think once the hair is cut off, it no longer is alive, so they can style it the anyway they want. c'mon ladies - I am sure there are many latina young girls that need that hair too, the nappier the better....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa DOn't hate cause I got the good hurrrr.......lol

riddle me this...
my hair is only nice and manageable if i blow it out. IF i blew it out and then donated it would a wig get all frizzy if it got wet????
_N
Positive NM, the hair will most definitely get frizzy.
Precisely why I will not pain the child with my donated hair.
